Padbury at Guilford

I cannot even remember now when Anne took me there. We were going to watch movie then she decided to take me somewhere for 'surprise venue'... yay.. I love surprises!!!

Anne took me to Padbury restaurant at Guilford. As she told me about this restaurant many times I was pretty much excited on the way to there..
This is the restaurant. Look at the ceiling (I know it's a bit dark but try to look at it!). Big and heavy pans and other stuffs are hanging up there... scary... if any of them drops on my head.. I'd be out of this world!

Let's talk about food there. We were hoping to have "The Most Beautiful Fish Chowder in WA" -Anne 2007- but they haven't changed the menu yet. So she had Roasted duck and I had Roasted pumpkin and sweet potato risotto. Duck was softly cooked and there was no ducky smell!! How about my risotto? Oh... you beauty! I think I never had such nice risotto in my life before. But you have to think that I'm an Asian... who didn't have many chances to have western food.. then again.. as I like risotto... I had it at many places... Hm.. why don't you go and find out?

When it comes to desserts... Anne strongly suggests we do not have any pastry dessert... so we decided to have crepes with cherries... Errrr... no comment!

I like Guilford... and now I like there more because it has Padbury!
