Sometimes I miss the snowy winter in Korea. I used to watching snows falling like small cotton candies drinking coffee from the 8th floor of the apartment and there was always this music on my turn-table - George Winston's "DECEMBER". My uni-friend got me this as a record then later on I bought myself a cd. I think this is the most perfect music for any winter day and I believe this is one of "MUST HAVE" cds for the winter. Some says George plays piano too hard but I think that makes it different from other similar pianists. Well, just my opinion! I spent most of my winter time with this so it's got all memories of it... maybe that's why I love it more and more. I remember what my music teacher said about Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D major - one of the most boring classical music! His/her (cannot remember!) reason was because it repeats the same rhythms. Well, if my teacher listened George Winston's Variations on the Kannon by Pachelbel then he/she might change the thought! Hm... now I can guess why it's called "Variation on the Kannon"??
