Belly Dancing and Lebanese food

I lived in Victoria Park for a while but I didn't know about this Lebanese restaurant, called 'Elie's Tent'. I had 'vegetarian stew' and it was very tasty, well to me it was... I really liked how they cooked rice. Then there was Belly Dancing!! wow... She was great... Even just watching her gives me kinda backache but it was durable... haahaa... The dancer started with a golden scarf then a sword... geee... then later on she picked up some customers and danced together... it was fun.. and she was much more entertaining than the one I saw in a Greek restaurant.
Then we moved to Cheers pub ... believe or not.. accidentally we did kinda 'gate crash' to someone's engagement party... ooops! It looked so boring and dull though... the conversation between a girl in the party and a girl in our group went like this:
Their girl: "excuse me, do I know you?" Our girl: "I don't think so. We just came to see the view from here" - the function hall was in upstairs. Their girl: "this is a private function and we paid for it." Our girl "oh, did ya?" in a tone saying 'hey girl, we all knew that!!' It was funny... when 'our girl' said that in such tone. I do understand how they could feel but she could have said something better than talking about '$$$' first!
Well, we were asked to leave so we did... then we were looking for a cafe... any cafe for coffee. We walked almost a kilometer to Farrell's only to find out they shut even before 11:20pm!! Cannot believe that we walked that far just to come back! We ended up going to Fast Eddy's at Carousel - this time we drove, which was an excellent decision! Hilarious conversation.. fantastic people... it was fun... lots of laughs.. Came back home at 1:20am!! oh... time for breakfast... now...
