Government House Open Day

The public rooms of Government House, the Ballroom and the Gardens was open to public today! I must say it was interesting to see the inside and walking around of it! It has 16 rooms on the ground floor and 25 rooms on the first floor and many many servants to clean rooms I guess?
There there was a car display by Veteran Car Club of WA as well with lots of others.. Surprisingly, there was heaps of room at the back seat..! I thought the engine might be HUGE but it wasn't... One of these cars has foot rest at the back seat... interesting!



You know what I like the most? It's the space behind the curtain in the ballroom! Once you close the curtain... you can be free from whatever going on in the ballroom! haahaa... It was a creamy shiny place...


Thank goodness.. it wasn't raining at all while we were walking from near Highgate through East perth for breakfast to the Government House!! Oh.. I think I walked too much today... well, I think I can eat chips tomorrow... Photos except two cars are from www.govhouse.wa.gov.au/default.shtm
