West Side Story

It was a great night from the dinner to the concert with great people!! The concert was performed by the Western Australian Youth Orchestra and sponsored by Woodside... Am I advertising Woodside? No way! I'm trying to explain how I had a chance to be there! One of our Yumcha club members is working at Woodside and he got me a ticket!! heehee.. I'm lucky, ain't I??
Anyway, we went to the restaurant called Joe's Oriental Diner located in the Hotel Hyatt. It wasn't expected at all but food was great! We really like the food and we'll go there again!! Anne was struggling with Mongolian Beef as it was too spicy for her but it wasn't in fact... ooops! I had a vegetarian claypot - ohhhhh... I haven't had a good vegetarian one for a long time and I was very satisfied! Due to my today's busy schedule running here and there all I had before diner was a cup of coffee and a can of diet coke... poor tummy but gets rewarded finally at the diner table!
The Perth Concert Hall... I have been there only once for my sharemate's graduation ceremony a long time ago - btw, I didn't even go mine!! - and I think it hasn't changed much.. Well, I haven't been in any proper concerts since I left Korea so I enjoyed more and it was indeed great! We sat in the middle at the top so I could clearly see who plays what... Great to see them from the above.. All young talented musicians! I swear I didn't fall asleep! Images are from http://perth.regency.hyatt.com/hyatt/ and www.perthconcerthall.com.au
