Kimbab

I don't like most Asian things are named and described as 'Chinese' or 'Japanese' something... Well, maybe I'm too sensitive with we, all non-Chinese and non-Japanese are called something Chinese, otherwise something Japanese! Well, I'm going to show off our Korean kimbab - now you might want to call it 'Korean Sushi'! Ya, let's make it clear here - Korean Sushi is called 'Kimbab'... Japanese mainly uses fresh vegies, fish, and eggs but Korean uses pickled, fresh or/and stir-fried vegies, cooked spinach, minced beef and eggs... Of course, there are heaps of different named Kimbab and you can roll rice with anything you want to have! But its taste and style are obviously different from Japanese.. Oh, don't get me wrong... I do like Japanese rolls... I love Japanese food! Anyway, when any chances come across to be in a Korean restaurant, try 'Kimbab'! The tasty photo is from image.rimi.kr/56367
