Confused, lost, shattered... what is? My belief.. Following is the article from Paul Murray on The West Australian. " Ms Werbeloff's story is an amalgam of the remorseless interest in celebrity, moral confusion about how to get it, our glamorization of violence and the way young people use and regard the media... omit... But the Chk Chk Book girl is all about violence. She's pretty. She was apparently a witness to a traumatic incident. She has a gangbanging slang down pat. And she provided her own action movie sound effect. Ms Werbeloff offers that insidious Hollywood cocktail of glamor and violence in a reality show package perfect for mainstream television. It's really quite sick. A senior reporter from a national newspaper who has excused Ms Werbeloff's deceit in print on the ground that "she just wants to be famous" was obviously delighted by the girl's performance when she talked about it on Nine's A Current Affair on Monday night. No one expects tabloid television to be much of a moral signpost bu surely people want more from the broadsheet?.... omit.... Even that sobering glimpse of the victim hardly brought home that the meteoric rise of the Chk Chk Boom girl was all about glamorizing, in fact glorifying, violence. This has become so moralized that it is not even recognized for what it is. ..omit... To have a pretty young woman utter it(the sound effect of a pistol being loaded) with a trembling lip was irrestible to so many in the Facebook generation."Surprisingly there was an article online that ACA might hire her...! (http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/story/0,28383,25549827-10229,00.html) Funny that this article is categorized in Entertainment! haahaa.. Btw, does anybody know what actually happened? Well, what would she teach her kids?? Having unpleasant headache, I thought I would just catch up some news that I missed this week but I think I was stupid. The image is from smh.com.au
