Whaleback mining site

I don't know where to start... It was a fabulous experience to see, learn and to match what I know in theory... We left Perth by 7.10am flight and arrived Newman at 8.40am then straight away we headed to Newman mining site. Big dinner... all meals were called 'truckie's meal' as its serving size is HUGE. Next day, we were taken to Orebody 18, 23 and 35 area and Whaleback mining site then we flew to Port Headland by a 9 seat chartered plane, B200 Kingair! Oh.. passed out at a hotel after another big dinner! The last day, we visited Nelson point at the harbor then Finucane Island and we cruised around the harbor by a small boat. Unfortunately, then we had to fly to Perth! The very first time to see iron ore mining sites, to be on a small plane, to drive a boat, to wear personal protection equipments - PPE(helmet, vest and goggles) and to travel such a long distance at such a short time!.. The first image is the Whaleback mining site... I don't see any points to explain the iron ore mining procedure here but their iron ore is one of the best in Pilbara. Don't you think it's beautiful?? You can see in the left, they are mining blue grey iron ore. Due to all dust, they water roads few times per day by BIG water trucks, which is shown in the second photo. Everything is HUGE there!!
