Fabulous dinner party

Another awesome dinner gathering... this time it was to celebrate the completion of Bev's beautiful house renovation and it was beautifully done as expected - She has a great taste! Well, we are all greeted with pink Cosmopolitan cocktail that I couldn't stop sipping! Home made springrolls and salmon canape were served followed by prawn and calamari platter (no photo of that.. was too busy eating!). Bev set a table in a sunken lounge where we can overlook the Perth city.. GREAT!! Oh.. Dinner menu? Most delicious salad with ginger-lime dressing, baked baby potatoes with mint, red cabbage and green bean salad with cashew nuts, spinach ricotta cheese bake and beef stew (have no idea how to spell its real name!)... Bev cooked spinach ricotta cheese specially for me as I'm not very keen on meat dishes...I was all spoiled again!! THANK YOU BEV!!! Oh, Claudia's 'once a life' dish was really yummy... why is it once a life dish? Cuz she doesn't remember what she put ... wine explains why.. I guess? :) She's a great 'accidental cook'! haahaa..
Well, dessert.. the best baker in our group - Anne... She becomes an evil again.. making everyone feel guilty after eating that.. I'm sure everyone is on a treadmill today! She baked apple-rhubarb crumbles with cream and ice-cream and black & white baked cheesecake!! Oh god... I love baked cheese cakes and it's Anne's cake - how can i have only one serve!!!?? I had two.. It was just right!! Maybe I should go for a run now... Thanks for everyone and it was one of the most wonderful dinner party!
