Seoul Visit 2009

It seem everything has changed in Seoul after my last visit in 2005. It has more character and convenient but in a way more materialistic. I'm sure it can be improved! Less than two weeks time... I think I saw only less than 10% of this one of the biggest capital cities in the world. So many things to see, so many things to try.. Full one month would be just enough to see Seoul with 24/7 traffic jams!
My first lunch at home - mom got me fresh chilies with chili paste! They are sweet.. and mom's chili paste got even better! I think I had 10 of them but no trouble what so ever!
The pot - you wouldn't even imagine what it is for? I thought it's kinda decoration and thought it suits in mom's house. Oh well, I opened the lid and found RICE in it!! It's the yellow mud container specially for rice! ha! My best meal in Seoul was the lunch at the temple where mom's been going for last 40 years. The very vegetarian lunch was just great. It wasn't any special but just for usual days. It doesn't look great in the photo as I couldn't do better in front of that smell, but it was the best meal I had. They use very limited seasonings but it's always just great. The less is always the better..! maybe?
