Alfred's Kitchen

Nothing was really special in terms of ingredients but my taste buds surely enjoyed their burgers! All ingredients seem very fresh and it wasn't greasy at all with no excess sauce or sodium. I tried a stake burger with cheese, a hamburger with cheese and bacon, and a lentil burger. Well, I will score the steak burger top and I must say the lentil burger wasn't impressive at all. I should have had its famous pea and ham soup.. oh well, next time... it's kinda interesting experience to wait for burgers standing right next to railroad. Well.. I quite liked it! Following is from its website(alfredskitchen.com.au) about its history! "Alfred's Kitchen has been serving up famous food since 1946. Located on the corner of Meadow and James Streets in the historic pioneer town of Guildford(1829), Western Australia, we're open for business every night from 5.00pm until late. We're Perth 's longest running roadside hamburger kitchen, and with its wandoo log seats and blazing open fire, Alfred's Kitchen is always a popular destination for a late night meal. We've got the only flame in Guildford that burns each night, winter or summer, which signifies that Alfred's Kitchen is open for business."
