Chung-Gye River running through Seoul

In 1968, Korean Gov't closed a river running through Seoul and built up a long freeway above it for the fast expanding capital city. In 2005, we removed the eye-sore freeway and restored the river! Look at the photo from www.pressian.com. The left is after the restoration and the right is before. Since then, many things were improved in terms of environment and city living people enjoy the historical river running through the heart of Seoul.
